Join us for a Sit & Sew at 2:00PM at the Hilliard Masonic Lodge (3980 Main St. Hilliard, OH 43026). Bring your current WIP Projects! To our new friends from our Open House, this is a great opportunity to get to know us a little better!
Next Meeting: October 12, 2025
We’re talking about technology! Exploring how AI can support your sewing – from solving challenges to sparking new ideas. Learn to use software to advance your sewing skills.
Anyone interested in joining ASG is welcome and encouraged to come to our meetings. You may attend two meetings before committing to a membership. Come see what we’re all about!

Fashion Show & Luncheon
Date: Saturday, July 12
Time: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Location: Avery Masonic Lodge, 3980 Main St, Hilliard, OH 43026
Cost: $20 per person
Ticket Info:
Checks should be made out to ASG Columbus Chapter. Email asgcolumbusoh@gmail.com or text 606-547-7140 for mail-in instructions.
Tickets will also be available to purchase at our June Meeting (cash, card or digital payment accepted).
Lunch Menu:
Enjoy a fresh salad bar with a variety of proteins, veggies, and fruits, along with a pasta salad. Breads and desserts will include gluten-free options, so there’s something for everyone! A variety of hot teas, iced tea and lemonade to drink.
Prizes and Giveaways
Members will be entered for a chance to win a cover stitch machine
Non-members will be entered for a chance to win a one-year ASG membership
Everyone will leave with a grab bag of goodies!
Fashion Show Categories:
1 – Garden Party – A garden-themed item. Garments, quilts, bags, and anything else that blossoms with creativity.
2 – Garden Party Hat – Show off your floral fascinators, sun hats, or any garden inspired headwear.
3 – Other Beautiful Projects – Anything you’re proud of, whether it’s garden-themed or not.
4 – Best Overall – The person that receives the most votes will receive top prize (and bragging rights, of course!)
Prizes:
Each category winner will receive a prize bundle that includes at least a $50 gift card and fun sewing items.
The Best in Show winner will receive a gift basket featuring $100 in gift cards along with a variety of sewing goodies.
Virtual Attendance:
We will be running Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. Zoom participants will be able to cast votes, but you must be present in person to be entered into the prize drawings.
Project Entries:
You can enter as many items as you’d like. Show us what you’ve been working on!
Accessibility:
There are five stairs at the entrance and another 21 stairs to reach the second floor where the event will be held. A chair lift is available inside.
We can’t wait to celebrate your creativity and enjoy a day full of inspiration and fun. See you at the show!
ASG Columbus Chapter Open House

Join the American Sewing Guild Columbus Chapter for our Open House on August 16th from 12–4pm at the beautiful new Fran Ryan Center!
We’ll have:
Raffles for TWO sewing machines & a 1-year ASG membership
Make-and-Take Projects Educational Demonstrations
A Sewing Machine Tune-Up Station Info about all the fun and creativity in our chapter!
Every guest gets a FREE raffle ticket just for coming! There is no cost to attend this event.
